Do I need an account?
Not for Practice Run, Today's Course or friend challenges. To put a Today's Course run on the ranking, choose 'Save this result' and pick a nickname and a 6-digit PIN; the run is kept while you sign in.
Why do older daily courses look different?
A new generator builds a different course from the same seed, so the date picks the rule version: 1 before 2026-10-05, 2 through 2026-10-10, and 3, with zones and stars, from 2026-10-11. Replays store their version, so ghosts and challenges rerun on their own course.
Does a run ever end?
Yes. At 10 minutes it stops with '10 minutes — finished!'. With the speed curve that is about 8,020 m; top speed arrives 97 s in.
Do stars affect my score?
No. Stars from full runs add to a total kept per account on this device and open runner colours at 30, 80, 160 and 300; section practice stars do not count. Across 300 generated courses, the first 1,000 m held about 62 stars on average.
What if I am still running at midnight UTC?
The day's board accepts runs for 10 minutes after midnight, the longest a run can last. Later results show 'This challenge has ended (UTC date changed)'.
